Die-cut (dieline)

Definition

The technical drawing of the flattened package, with cut, crease and glue lines, over which the artwork is placed. It comes from the supplier or is developed with them.

In practice

Never start artwork without the final dieline. A 2 mm change in structure shifts everything printed.
